This page explains how to add a custom line item to a receipt, bill, or invoice across multiple categories within the Akrio mobile application.

  1. Open the Invoice or Receipt Tab and tap on the receipt you wish to add a line item to.
  1. Create Line Items
    1. Scroll down and tap ‘Line items’.
  1. Click the “Add” button located at the top-right corner of the screen to create a line item.
    1. Fill in the details like:
      1. Description
      2. Amount
      3. Tax Rate
      4. Category
    2. To add more, tap ‘Add’ on the top right corner and repeat.
  1. Categorise Costs
    1. Break down the total cost into specific charges.

Example: For an invoice with “Stationery” and “Computer Equipment,” create separate line items for each category.

  1. Save Your Changes
    1. Once all line items are entered and the totals match, go back to the Item details page and tap ‘Update’.

Note: You can always edit line items later by simply selecting that line item.
